Diagnosing LDAP Entries

This topic describes the procedure to diagnose LDAP entries using Management Console .

Before you begin this task: Access Management Console and connect to LDAP as an authenticated user.


The content management utility of Management Console has a diagnostic tool that helps diagnose and repair LDAP entries.

  1. Click Content Management in the Management Console window. The Content Management page is displayed.
  2. Click Diagnostics, select the required <Diagnostic option>. For more information refer to Diagnostic Operations.
    Note: Selecting the Check All option enables you to perform all diagnostic operations sequentially.
  3. Click Yes on the Information dialog box, to continue the diagnostic process.
    A <Diagnostic option> window appears displaying the status and results of the diagnostic process.
    Note: In the results, a warning may appear for Repository Service, with Referential Integrity as the Source. You can ignore this warning as it does not affect the operation.
